MARINE SUPERINTENDENT
Job Description:
Supervising activities at the quayside, the Marine Superintendent will:
Develop and maintain a company Marine Operations procedure to ensure that all marine vessels have safety management systems in line with ENS and contractual requirements.
Warrant efficient port operations by opportune arrangements for berthing, craneage, forklifts and cargo handling as well as ensuring contractor provision of service is maintained in line with budgetary costs.
Plan, direct and control offshore logistic operational requirements as well as maximising vessel utilisation and guaranteeing the financially efficient operation of the oil fleet.
Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
A Master Mariner Class 1 or equivalent University degree.
A minimum of five (5) years offshore experience ideally with command experience onboard offshore supply vessels.
Knowledge of international maritime regulations, Ghanaian Regulatory requirements, Maritime industry standards and EHS management systems.
A general understanding of vessel charter market trends as well as good communication and leadership skills.
