TRAINER, RETAIL

Purpose/ Mission:

* Support the Retail Business by equipping the retail teams with product and technical knowledge that will help them in their roles to improve sales.

Primary Accountabilities:

* Develop, conduct and evaluate all necessary training, development and education for the retail team
* Provide retail team with first hand feedback from consumers through the daily interface with them
* Provide retail team with first hand information on market situations, competition through daily on–ground contact
* Provide on-the-job training for retail team on adidas brand history, technologies and product launches
* Lead store personnel to consistently deliver excellent customer service by coaching and sharing of product knowledge
* Ensure fast and efficient development, adoption and implementation of Global/ Regional training programme/ materials relating to product and technologies, based on the campaigns and needs of the retail team with collaboration with Manager, D&T from HR
* Implement and deliver selected modules of adidas Retail University to the retail team
* Work closely with Manager, D&T on retail team training needs, training initiatives and training implementations.

Professional background/ Experience:

* Functional: Experience in Training and Development or Retail Management
* Industry: Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ FW or FMCG Retail
* Exposure: Sports, Fashion

Education:

* Diploma in Training & Development / Retail Management

IT:

* Outlook: Advanced
* Word: Advanced
* Excel: Advanced
* Powerpoint: Advanced

Language skills:

* English: Advanced
* Local Language: Fluent
